SAMBA, Feb. 15 -- Samba Police has made a significant breakthrough by apprehending a bovine smuggler who had been on the run, along with rescuing two bovines, in a smuggling attempt intercepted within the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal. The operation also led to the seizure of a Wagon R car believed to be used for bovine transportation.

The arrested bovine smuggler, identified as Tanver Ahmed, son of Nazir Ahmed Doyee, and resident of Kadder Anantnag, was wanted in connection with a case registered against him at Police Station Samba under FIR No. 44/2024 u/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act.
