JAMMU, Sept. 14 -- Expressing deep concern over the continuous rise in dengue cases in Jammu and Kashmir, senior BJP leader and former Vice Chairman Balbir Ram Rattan has appealed to the Health Department to take more effective steps to control the infection. According to the latest data, a total of 411 dengue cases have been reported in the Union Territory so far, with 21 new cases recorded in just the past 24 hours. Unfortunately, one person has died due to the disease.
