UDHAMPUR, June 17 -- At a time when the authorities are busy in making people aware about importance of cleanliness and adopting hygienic ways of life in the wake of coronavirus outbreak, the inhabitants of Panchayat Balota chigla of tehsil Ramnagar in district Udhampur are forced to consume contaminated water.
Panch of the Panchayat, informed that a tank build in the village by PHE department long ago is poorly maintained. "The tank was never cleaned after it was dedicated to the public. Moroever, it is open on the top allowing the dust particles to fall into it," he said.
