JAMMU, May 1 -- The management committee of Rehan Basera, a shelter home for the urban homeless located at Boria Basti, Gorkha Nagar, Bahu Fort, Jammu, celebrated International Labour Day with great reverence and community participation. The event paid tribute to the struggles, contributions, and rights of workers, aligning with the global observance that began after the 1886 Chicago Haymarket protest advocating for an 8-hour workday.
