REASI, Dec. 29 -- In a continued drive against narcotics and to ensure the safety of pilgrims visiting the holy town of Katra, District Police Reasi achieved a major success by apprehending a drug peddler and recovering heroin-like substance during routine naka checking.
On the intervening night of 28/12/2025 and 29/12/2025, keeping in view the heavy inflow of yatris, a naka was established by Police Station Katra at Searli for routine checking and frisking of vehicles and pedestrians. During the operation, a Swift Dzire car bearing registration number JK20C-5483, coming from Udhampur towards Katra, was intercepted.
