REASI, July 15 -- Continuing its firm action against drug peddling in the holy town of Katra, today at around 1100 hours, a police team deployed at Ban Ganga Katra intercepted a suspicious individual riding a motorcycle bearing registration number JK06C-3907, coming from Katra side towards Ban Ganga.
During the routine checking, the individual was stopped and questioned by the alert police party. He identified himself as Vikram Bandral S/O Sh. Hans Raj R/O Main Chowk Tikri, Udhampur, presently residing at SMVD Track, Purana Daroor, Ban Ganga, Katra.
Upon thorough search of his belongings, one black-colored polythene bag containing approximately 509.930 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
