REASI, Nov. 18 -- In its continuous fight against the menace of drugs, District Police Reasi achieved a success when a patrolling team of Police Station Reasi apprehended one person and recovered contraband from his possession. During routine patrolling, the police team intercepted and detained Deepak Kumar S/O Vijay Kumar R/O Trintha, Tehsil & District Reasi. Upon search, the patrolling party recovered approximately 3.88 grams of heroin-like substance, wrapped in a white polythene packet, from his possession.
Taking cognizance of the matter, an instant case FIR No. 173/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi. The accused has been taken into custody.
