Reasi, May 2 -- In its ongoing crusade against drug abuse, Reasi Police has intensified its crackdown on narcotics smuggling, leading to the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of a total of 7.30 grams of heroin-like substance in two separate incidents under the jurisdiction of Police Station Katra.

In the first case, a police patrolling team intercepted a suspect, Sunny Mehra, son of Parshotam Mehra, resident of Ward No. 10, Panthal, while he was on foot from Searly towards Katra. During frisking, the team recovered 3.70 grams of heroin-like substance from his possession.
