Reasi police arrest absconder wanted in three cases

Reasi, July 13 -- In a major breakthrough, Reasi Police have successfully apprehended a long-time absconder wanted in three different cases and cracked a temple donation box theft case by arresting the third and final accused.

Acting on the Proclamation Order issued by the Hon'ble Munsiff Court, Katra, Police Station Katra apprehended Gulzar Ahmed S/o Satar Mohd R/o Sudhmahadev, Tehsil Chenani, District Udhampur, who had been evading arrest for years.

The Hon'ble Judicial Magistrate Ist Class (JMIC), Katra had earlier issued arrest warrants against him in the three FIRs registered at P/S Katra:FIR No. 239/2014 U/S 341/323/382/34 RPC, FIR No. 03/2016 U/S 48(a) Excise Act, 188 RPC and FIR No. 47/2019 U/S 48(a) Excise Act, 188 RPC.
