REASI, May 8 -- The District Administration and District Red Cross Society Reasi celebrated World Red Cross Day today with great enthusiasm and active community participation under the theme "On the Side of Humanity." Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik, who also serves as the Chairperson of the District Red Cross Society, was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries. The celebration paid tribute to the humanitarian spirit of the Red Cross movement.
