Ramban, July 16 -- Under the directions of SSP Ramban Shri Kulbir Singh-JKPS, an awareness programme was today organized by Ramban Police at Village Gandhri, Tehsil Ramban, under the ongoing initiative "Bharosa", aimed at empowering women and spreading awareness about their legal rights and available protections.
The event was conducted by the lady Constable Suraya Banoo and Lady SPO Ranu Devi of Police Station Dharamkund, who sensitized the participating women on critical issues such as domestic violence, sexual harassment, cybercrime and dowry related offences. The sessions were focused on educating the participants about legal remedies, helplines, and the functioning of Women Help Desk at the Police Station.
