RAMBAN, Dec. 27 -- In a significant action against organized crime of bovine smuggling and the illegal generation of wealth, Police Station Ramsoo, District Ramban, has attached movable property worth Rs 5,60,497/- under Section 107 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). The attachment has been effected as part of sustained efforts by Ramban Police to curb bovine smuggling and dismantle the financial networks supporting such organised criminal activities.
The action stems from the investigation of FIR No. 63/2025, registered at Police Station Ramsoo under Sections 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act. During the course of investigation, it was revealed that the accused...
