Ramban, Feb. 8 -- Ramban Police, as part of its intensified drive against drug trafficking, achieved a significant success by arresting one person and recovering heroin-like contraband in the Sangaldan area.
On 07.02.2026, a police party from Police Post Sangaldan, while performing naka/checking duty at Tata Pani Road, Sangaldan, intercepted a vehicle (Eeco) bearing registration number JK19A-7926. During the checking, heroin-like contraband along with an electronic weighing machine was recovered from the possession of the driver.
