Rajouri, Dec. 3 -- Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking, Rajouri Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin and psychotropic substances during separate Naka checking operations in Thanamandi and Manjakote.
A police team of Police Station Thanamandi during Naka checking at Rajdhani apprehended one drug peddler identified as Noshad Ahmed @ Shada S/o Abdul Qayoom R/o Hasplote Thanamandi Rajouri.
During his personal search 5.25 grams of heroin like narcotic substance was recovered from his possession.
In this regard a case FIR No. 164/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Thanamandi, and investigation is underway.
