JAMMU, May 1 -- Rajat Singh Charak, son of the soil and a rising star in Wushu, has brought laurels to the nation and the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir by clinching the silver medal at the prestigious Sanda World Cup held in Jiangyin, China.
Competing in the men's under-85 kg category, Rajat showcased exceptional skill and resilience, advancing to the finals where he narrowly lost to his Australian opponent to secure the silver medal. His qualification for the World Cup was based on his outstanding performance at the 10th Asian Wushu Championship held in Macau, China, in 2024, where he also won a silver medal.
