Jammu, July 26 -- A significant achievement in Indian Railways was announced today by Jammu Division of Northern Railway, with the installation of the first Direct Unlocking System at Dinanagar Railway Station.
This system is expected to improve efficiency and safety in railway operations. With this success, during an event today on 26th July 2025, Divisional Railway Manager, Jammu Division, Shri Vivek Kumar explained the important features of the Direct Unlocking System. He informed that this system directly controls the railway signaling and point machinery, thereby reducing the chances of human error.
