JAMMU, Jan. 27 -- Police Station City, Jammu has successfully cracked a major ATM theft and cheating case involving illegal transactions amounting to ?54,890, reflecting swift and effective police action against financial frauds. On 24.01.2026, an e-complaint was received regarding fraudulent withdrawal of ?40,000 in four transactions of ?10,000 each and shopping worth ?14,890 using the ATM card of the complainant, Pooja Devi, resident of Mansar, Udhampur.
Accordingly, FIR No. 04/2026 under Sections 318(4)/303(2) BNS was registered and investigation was initiated.
