JAMMU, Dec. 28 -- Continuing its crackdown against illegal timber smuggling, Jammu (Rural) Police achieved a significant success by seizing a vehicle involved in the illegal transportation of Khair wood in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota.
During routine naka checking on the intervening night of December 27/28, 2025, a police party from Police Station Gharota established a special naka at the Ghorda area of Gharota. During the operation, one black-coloured Scorpio (Registration No. JK02X-0027) was signalled to stop.
