Srinagar, Feb. 15 -- Days after a local militant and the main accused was arrested for his alleged involvement in the killing of two workers from Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Indian Navy's elite marine commando MARCOS launched a search operation in the water body in Srinagar to trace his cellphone and other incriminating materials which he had thrown, officials said.

Two day ago, J&K Police said that they arrested Aadil Manzoor Langoo, a resident of Srinagar, who was involved in the February 7 killings of two Punjabi migrant workers - Amritpal Singh and Rohit Masi. Police had said a pistol that was used by him to commit the crime was also recovered.
