JAMMU, Feb. 4 -- Jammu (Rural) Police has successfully solved two separate theft cases through sustained investigation and timely action, leading to the arrest of accused persons and the recovery of stolen property in Chinore.
On November 27, 2025, a written complaint was received at Police Post Chinore from Abdul Hafeez, son of Abdul Rehman, resident of Thather, Ban Talab, Jammu. The complainant reported that unknown thieves had broken into his residential house and decamped with gold ornaments weighing approximately 20 tolas.
Accordingly, FIR No. 248/2025 under Sections 331(3)/305 BNS was registered at Police Station Domana, and the investigation was entrusted to PSI Arjun Singh, Incharge Police Post Chinore.
