DODA, June 13 -- In a proactive initiative to enhance security and tackle issues related to unauthorized SIM card distribution, Doda Police on the directions of SSP Doda Sh. Sandeep Mehta JKPS, District Police Doda conducted a comprehensive inspection drive targeting SIM card vendor outlets across the district. The initiative aims to strengthen the verification process for new SIM registrations to curb the misuse of mobile connectivity.
During the inspection, vendors were directed to maintain proper records of all issued SIM cards including customer details and to follow strict KYC (Know Your Customer) protocols before issuing SIM cards.
