JAMMU, Dec. 12 -- In a major action reflecting Jammu Police, South Zone's firm stance against narcotics trafficking, PS Gangyal achieved a significant breakthrough after a deployed naka team intercepted a vehicle transporting heroin.

Under the close supervision of SP South, SDPO South, and SHO Gangyal, a routine naka was established at Purmandal Morh. The alert team led by PSI Ashish Razdan noticed a Swift car (JK08C-8781) moving hurriedly and signaled it to stop. Acting swiftly, the police detained the occupants and conducted a thorough search of the vehicle.

The operation led to the recovery of 340 grams of heroin and the arrest of the following individuals:
