SRINAGAR, Feb. 13 -- Police have attached immovable property under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) (UAP) Act in Kulgam district.

Police on Thursday said that in a significant move to counter terrorism, Kulgam Police have attached a property "fully damaged (double-storied Residential house)" under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA), which has been used by terrorists for their shelter and stay in addition to all other logistic support provided by the owner.

The property is registered in the name of Safdar Ali Dar a resident of Modargam, Kulgam where two terrorists who were hiding were neutralized in an encounter on July 6, 2024, Police said.
