JAMMU, July 3 -- As part of enhanced security arrangements ahead of the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025, Nowabad Police has been conducting intensified checking operations across hotels, lodges, and vulnerable spots falling under its jurisdiction.
During one such surprise inspection, an alert police party conducted a checking operation at Hotel Grand Inn, Sant Market, Jewel, Jammu. During the operation, a person was found in possession of a sharp-edged weapon (toka) under suspicious circumstances.
