SRINAGAR, June 26 -- In the midst of COVID-19, a group of medical students in Jammu and Kashmir have bagged PG (Post Graduate) seats allegedly after submitting fake Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificates.
Highly placed sources told Early Times that the medical students mostly from South Kashmir and Srinagar have acquired EWS certificates fraudulently as their families are affluent and rich.
They have acquired EWS certificates fraudulently and secured seats under EWS category. They have snatched away the opportunity from those who really need it," a group of candidates told Early Times, however they wished anonymity.
