Udhampur, Jan. 25 -- A detailed sensitization programme on the newly introduced government scheme VBG-RAMG, envisioned as an employment-oriented initiative in place of MGNREGA, was organised in Mandal Majalta. The programme was chaired by Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Udhampur East, who was the main speaker on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Ranbir Singh Pathania informed that VBG-RAMG is a progressive step by the government aimed at ensuring sustainable livelihood opportunities, with special focus on women, vulnerable sections, and marginalised groups.
