RAMBAN, April 9 -- District Level Committee (DLC), Ramban for Forest Rights Act, 2006, today organised a capacity building programme for the officials and PRI members, here at Conference Hall, Maitra.
Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan, presided over the training session which was attended by the Vice- Chairperson, Rabia Beig, BDC, Chairpersons, DDC Members, BDOs and Range officer from forest Department.
While discussing the modalities for effective implementation of provisions of Forest Rights Act, 2006, the Chairperson directed the Forest Department to provide adequate training and knowledge to grassroots level functionaries of concerned departments to execute the provisions.
