Udhampur, June 13 -- Continuing its war against drugs, Udhampur Police has arrested one person for cultivating Opium/Poppy illegally under the jurisdiction of Police Post Damnote.
On receiving specific information regarding the cultivation of banned Opium/Poppy at Dungi Dhar Bariote, Moungari, a special team was constituted by Insp. Parshotam Sharma SHO PS Panchari and assisted by PSI Kulvinder Singh ICPP Damnote who rushed to the spot and found one person cultivating Opium/Poppy on his private land at Dungi Bariote, Moungari, Udhampur.
The accused person has been identified as Maan Singh S/O Prabhat Singh R/O Dingi Dhar Bariote, Udhampur.
