Jammu, June 6 -- As India marked one month since the launch of Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday asserted that terror masterminds and their backers never anticipated India's decisive strike deep inside Pakistan to dismantle terror infrastructure.

Addressing a rally in Katra, following the inauguration of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link, the Prime Minister recalled the successful operation.

"Today is June 6. Coincidentally, exactly a month ago, Pakistan's terrorists met their fate on this very night. Whenever Pakistan hears the name Operation Sindoor, it will remember its shameful and humiliating defeat," Modi declared.
