JAMMU, March 12 -- Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has accused the NC leader Omar Abdullah of communalizing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) for political gain which aimed at exploiting communal sentiments rather than addressing the genuine intent of the CAA.
In a statement issued here today, the BJP stalwart emphasized that the implementation of the CAA is not based on any religious bias, but solely on the principles of justice and humanitarianism.
