Jammu, Jan. 9 -- NSS SMVDU Katra Volunteers during the seven-day special camp organized a cleanliness drive at the Ravi River bank near Purthu village Basohli, Kathua.
The volunteers worked together with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility towards nature.
During the drive, nearly 40 kg of waste was collected, including plastic wrappers, bottles, and other non-biodegradable materials.Purthu is known for its peace, serenity, and a natural gift for mankind, a place where people come to relax and feel connected to nature. Seeing garbage in a place meant to offer calmness made us realize how insensitive people have become towards the environment.
The cleanliness drive was not just about cleaning the area, but it was an eye-opening...
