Udhampur, May 17 -- Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing routine Patrolling duty apprehended one suspicious person from near Railway Station Udhampur, who on spoting police team tried to hide himself from police team which created suspicion.
Upon conducting his thorough frisking, police team recovered 4.50 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance from the possession of the above apprehended person namely Rahul Kumar S/O Rattan Lal R/O Champari, Tehsil Chenani.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 173/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.
