Kishtwar, Feb. 12 -- In a decisive move to curb activities prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, Kishtwar Police has tightened the noose around bovine smugglers by booking a notorious repeat offender under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
While sharing the details, SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Naresh Singh-JKPS, stated that Mushtaq Ahmed S/o Ghulam Shah R/o Shah Mohalla, Kurya Bridge, Kishtwar, has been detained under the provisions of the Public Safety Act. The detention order was issued by the District Magistrate, Kishtwar, following a detailed dossier prepared by the police highlighting his repeated involvement in criminal activities related to bovine smuggling. The accused has subsequently been lodged in District Jail, Bhaderwah.
