Jammu, March 30 -- The National Institute of Social Defense (NISD) and the Senior Citizens Joy Society (SCJS) organized an awareness program on the Rights of Senior Citizens at Panch Mandir, Chhanni Himmat.
Advocate Deepali Sharma, J&K High Court, was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner and Chairman/Advisor of SCJS, presided over the event. Mrs. Swati Basotra, a renowned motivational speaker, was the Special Invitee.
The program began with a welcome address by Sh. Ashok Gupta, President of SCJS, who emphasized the need for raising awareness about senior citizens' rights.
