Srinagar, Feb. 14 -- Despite several places in Kashmir recording sub-zero temperatures, there was a slight improvement in the night temperatures across the region, officials said on Friday.

According to the Meteorological Department, Srinagar city recorded a minimum of minus 1.3degC, an increase of over a notch from previous night. On the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday Srinagar had recorded a minimum temperature of -2.4degC.

Except for the tourist resort of Pahalgam in Anantnag, which continued to experience colder conditions, all other weather stations in the Valley witnessed an increase in night temperatures.
