JAMMU, Feb. 17 -- The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will be conducting Disaster Management related Mock Exercise at Jammu Airport in Non Aviation Domain on 18 and 19 February, 2025 based on Earth quake scenario in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Disaster Management department JKDMA and Airport Authority of India at Jammu Airport.
The main objective of the Mock Exercise is to highlight the key roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders in various simulated hazard situations and institutionalize adoption of the Incident Response System (IRS) in the response mechanism and generating public awareness regarding the Disaster Management.
