Jammu, Feb. 11 -- Leaders from both the ruling National Conference (NC) and the opposition BJP have dismissed speculation about a possible alliance in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, calling such reports "baseless" and "misleading".
NC's chief spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq and BJP leader Sunil Sharma categorically ruled out any political understanding between the two parties, refuting recent media reports suggesting otherwise.
Addressing the media, NC spokesperson and Zadibal MLA Tanvir Sadiq rejected claims that the party was in talks with the BJP, calling the report published in a local newspaper "completely unfounded" and an example of "irresponsible journalism."
