JAMMU, March 29 -- The much-anticipated three-day "Navreh Mahotsav 2025" began today, March 29th, marking the start of celebrations commemorating the Kashmiri Hindu New Year and cultural heritage.
Organized under the aegis of community initiatives like those spearheaded by Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, the festival runs until April 1st, 2025.
The inaugural day is observed as Tyaag Divas (Day of Sacrifice), dedicated to the memory and selfless contributions of the revered 15th-century scholar and physician, Acharya Pandit Shreya Bhat.
