JAMMU, Jan. 29 -- In a crackdown against drug trafficking, Jammu Police, South Zone achieved a significant success with the arrest of two drug peddlers and recovery of heroin-like substance in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gandhi Nagar.
A case FIR No. 18/2026 under sections 8/21/22/25/27-A/29 NDPS Act and Section 111 BNS has been registered at PS Gandhi Nagar.
During naka checking, police party led by PSI Zubair Manzoor apprehended two suspicious persons near Karan Enterprises, Gandhi Nagar. During personal search:
Sonu Randhawa, S/o Bittu Randhawa, R/o Valmiki Colony, Gandhi Nagar, was found in possession of 13.05 grams of heroin-like substance, along with a digital weighing machine, cash, and a mobile phone.
