RAMBAN, June 27 -- The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Ramban conducted a massive road safety and enforcement drive in Sub-Division Gool to curb traffic violations and ensure road safety. The drive was carried out by the enforcement team from MVD led by Inspector Darpan Sharma.
During the checking, the team inspected a large number of vehicles at various points. As many as 12 vehicles were seized and 25 vehicles were challaned for violating different provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
The major violations detected during the drive included vehicles operating without valid permits, overloading of goods and passengers, driving without valid fitness certificates, riding without helmets and driving vehicles without valid insurance documents...
