Srinagar, May 9 -- In yet another heartwarming example of Kashmiriyat, Muslims in a village in south Kashmir district of Pulwama helped perform the last rites of a Kashmiri Pandit amid unabated rise in the number of fresh COVID-19 cases and deaths. According to details, as soon as the news of the death of 70-year-old Chaman Lal, spread in village Tahab in Pulwama, members of Muslim community on Saturday came in large numbers to his house to condole the death. As only few of his family members and relatives were around, the Muslim neighbours of the deceased took it upon themselves to help perform the last rites of Lal, a former BSNL employee.
