Shopian, Jan. 4 -- Authorities on Saturday announced the reopening of the Mughal Road for limited vehicular traffic, allowing Light Motor Vehicles to ply during a fixed time window.

According to official traffic advisories, the Mughal Road will remain open for LMVs only from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. The decision follows an on-ground assessment of weather and road conditions along the high-altitude route, particularly around the Peer Ki Gali stretch, which is prone to snowfall and icy conditions during the winter season.
