Akhnoor, April 29 -- J&K police in Akhnoor sub-division of Jammu District have busted a motor vehicles lifter gang today under operation Avatar . On 22/04/2024 a complaint was lodged in police station Akhnoor by complainant Ram Dass S/o Lal Chand with regard to theft of his splender motorcycle and accordingly case FIR no 70/2024 under section 379 IPC was registered at police station Akhnoor and investigation taken up.
During investigation a special team of police was constituted by SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma.The special team collected dump data for technical analysis, collected CCTV footage and also studied pattern of few suspects. After obtaining certain leads three suspects namely
