Jammu, April 17 -- Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, has lauded the remarkable surge in tourism witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir, attributing the upward trend to the visionary and pro-people policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.
Citing official data, Gupta noted that over 5.25 lakh tourists have visited Kashmir in just the first three months and one week of 2025 alone which seems to be a clear evidence that the region is fast emerging as a global tourism hub.
