BANI, Aug. 30 -- Amid the devastation caused by incessant rains in the region, MLA Bani, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, personally reached out to the flood and rain-affected families of Duggani village in his constituency to provide immediate relief.
A total of 38 families were given ration kits, blankets, tents, and other necessary items to help them cope with the difficult situation.
Dr. Rameshwar Singh, accompanied by social activists Marhoof Mali, Parveen Singh, Pushpinder Singh, and Ganesh Singh, visited the affected areas and supervised the relief drive.
The MLA ensured that the displaced families were also shifted to nearby government buildings for temporary shelter, as many houses had become unsafe due to flooding and landslides.
