JAMMU, Aug. 18 -- Mission Shakti District Hub for Empowerment of Women Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with JKRLM organized an awareness session on menstrual health & hygiene for rural women in the Marh block. Dr. Bhanu Mahajan, Gynaecologist, Government Sub District Hospital, Marh, delivered a comprehensive talk on the menstrual cycle, menstrual hygiene management, menopause and essential preventive health practices. She emphasized the importance of maintaining personal hygiene during menstruation to prevent infections and promote overall well-being.
