REASI, Feb. 14 -- Demonstrating prompt action and unwavering commitment towards public safety, District Police Reasi successfully traced out a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused within eight days of the incident.
On 04.02.2026, a resident of Sirah Kotla, Kakryal approached Police Post Kakryal and lodged a written complaint stating that his minor daughter had been kidnapped by some unknown person. Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case FIR No. 48/2026 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Katra and investigation was immediately initiated.
