JAMMU, Aug. 29 -- The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MIER College of Education organized an Orientation Programme on Cyber Frauds for the non-teaching staff of the institution on 29th August 2025. The session aimed at creating awareness about online fraudulent practices and providing guidance on safeguarding against threats such as phishing, identity theft, and other forms of cybercrime.
The resource person for the programme was Inspector Gagandeep Singh from the Cyber Police Station. The programme began with a formal welcome address by Ms. Jasleen Mohial, Coordinator IQAC, who highlighted the relevance of such sessions for staff safety and awareness.
