Srinagar, May 9 -- Weatherman on Sunday forecast a spell of scattered to widespread rain and thunderstorm in Jammu and Kashmir from 12-14 May.
An official of the meteorological department said that while mainly dry weather was expected from 9-11 May, here is remote possibility of localised rain and thunderstorm at isolated pockets, mainly towards later afternoon or evening.
"Thereafter, expect another spell of scattered to widespread rain/thunderstorm during May 12-14th," he said.
Regarding Ladakh, the official said mainly dry weather is expected during 9-12 May. However, he said, light rain or snow may occur at isolated places on higher reaches, "although chances are less."
