RAJOURI, March 28 -- In continued efforts to support local communities, the Indian Army carried out a medical patrol for bakkarwals and locals in the remote areas of Dhabrot and Songri villages, Rajouri district. The initiative aimed to provide essential medical care to the residents, particularly the elderly, children and women of the Bakarwal community and other local inhabitants.

The medical team, comprising experienced medical staff and Nursing Assistants conducted health check-ups of more than 95 villagers comprising approx 42 women, 25 children and 28 elderly people, distributed medicines and educated the locals on hygiene and preventive healthcare.
